The proposed General Law changes have been approved. As a result, the Moose will be one organization in lieu of an organization (LOOM) with an auxiliary branch (WOTM). Effective May 1st, 2020 all members of the WOTM Chapters will be incorporated into their Lodges. The WOTM Chapter will continue to function, but they will be a means for women to achieve higher degrees within the Moose. Likewise the men wishing to broaden their Moose involvement will still join the Legion. After May 1st, 2021 women will be allowed to join in and vote on issues effecting the Lodge. That means they will be able to attend Lodge meetings and to hold Lodge offices, both appointed and elected. Ladies we welcome you. A friendly reminder though; effective May 1st, 2021 your annual dues will increase from $30.00 to $60.00. But on an up tick; you will start receiving the bi-monthly newsletter free of cost.
